Bones
skullThe skull is a bony structure in the head of most vertebrates (in particular, craniates) that supports the structures of the face and forms a protective cavity for the brain. The skull is composed of two parts: the cranium and the mandible.
tibia The tibia is the larger and stronger of the two bones in the leg below the knee in vertebrates (the other being the fibula), and it connects the knee with the ankle bones.
fibulaThe fibula is a leg bone located on the other side of the tibia, with which it is connected above and below. It is the smaller of the two bones, and, in proportion to its length, the slenderest of all the long bones.
femurThe femur is the closest to the center of the body in the leg that is capable of walking or jumping.
humerousThe humerus is the long bone in the upper arm, located between the elbow joint and the shoulder. At the elbow, it connects primarily to the ulna, as the forearm's radial bone connects to the wrist. At the shoulder, the humerus connects to the body through the scapula.
